Our team at Bondright Roofing Services were recently called out to the prestigious Relais hotel in Henley, following a health and safety concern involving a roof-mounted snow guard.
Due to the nature of the building and the volume of guests and members of the public using the premises daily, the issue required urgent attention. A compromised or incorrectly secured snow guard can pose a serious risk, particularly in winter conditions, where falling snow, debris or even tiles could endanger people below.
Upon arrival, our experienced roofing team, led by our own Dave, with over 35 years’ experience, carried out a full safety assessment of the affected area. We identified the issue, mounted a brand-new snow guard installation correctly on the whole width of the required area, and ensured the roof system was made fully safe and compliant. All work was completed with minimal disruption to the hotel’s operations, while maintaining the highest safety standards at all times.
Given the reputation of the property and its public-facing nature, it was essential that the work was carried out promptly, professionally, and discreetly.
